Hello, I’m Rachel, the heart and soul behind Buggy's Buddies, a unique pet care service named in loving memory of my cherished Patterdale Terrier, Lady, who was nicknamed Buggy. Inspired by Buggy’s spirit and loving nature, I am dedicated to providing the highest level of care and companionship to your beloved pets.
My Journey and Passion
From a young age, I have been surrounded by animals of all kinds, fostering a deep-rooted love and respect for them. My journey into professional animal care began with obtaining my City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Animal Management, which equipped me with the knowledge and skills to understand and cater to the needs of a wide variety of animals.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with numerous organisations, including The Donkey Sanctuary, working farms, and animal tourist attractions. This extensive experience has allowed me to work with an incredible range of animals, from donkeys and livestock to rabbits, guinea pigs, and even snakes. My diverse background ensures that there are few animals I haven’t worked with, and I am confident in my ability to provide the best care for any pet.
